Author & Former Carver Student Wesley Peters Visits Carver
We had a special treat today as author and former Carver student Wesley Peters visited with our 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade students. He shared what it's like being a published author and read his book, "The Plant Doctor" to our kids. The story tells the story of Ivory who is in 3rd grade and attends Carver Elementary. To find out who the plant doctor is, you'll have to read the book. He is providing our school a discount at $10 a book. Look for the flyer sent home with your child today to order a book. Orders need to be placed by May 8th.
