House Mural Project
Even though our Winter Vacation is in full swing, some of our EAST students gave up two of their days to complete one of their projects at school. Four fourth grade students decided that they wanted to paint a mural to help beautify our school. They were tired of just looking at white walls all the time so they decided to do something about it. The original idea was sketched out and then converted to a prototype using Microsoft’s App Paint 3D. You can see the design below:
They went from this design to working with Ms. Bailey, who is a teacher’s aid at our school, to sketch out their idea on paper.
For the past two days, the students have been working to create the mural. They finished earlier this afternoon and are excitedly waiting everyone’s return next week, so they can show off their finished product. Thank you Ms. Bailey, Mr. Decker, Mr. Murry and Mr. Crader for all of your help with this along with our EAST students who came up with the idea and carried it out. We also appreciate Sherwin Williams for donating the paint supplies for this project.
