Wonder
A group of 5th grade students from Mrs. Thomas’s 5th grade class just completed a book study on the book Wonder by R. J. Palacio. The students met with Ms. Wright in the library once a book to discuss the book and do activities centered around the book. As a culminating activity, Ms. Wright and Mr. Crader treated the students to a showing of the movie “Wonder”. We all agreed the movie was good, but the book was even better! If you haven’t read the book or seen the movie, we would highly recommend it. It’s a great discussion starter on bullying and kindness.
