Goodwill Bins

LRSD has joined the Bright Futures family. Bright Futures USA is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing communities together to focus on the success of children. Superintendent Poore brought Bright Futures to our district so that we can provide quick wrap-a-round services to our students. Little Rock Bright Futures is committed to meeting student’s immediate needs within 24 hours. Goodwill has partnered with our district to help build community sponsors and resources that will help us meet the needs of our students.

Little Rock Bright Futures is asking that each elementary school house a Goodwill bin in a visible and highly trafficked area on your campus and advertise to your parents and staff. I have enclosed a flier with donation guidelines that can be used for advertisement.

Goodwill is offering to turn donations into mission dollars that our district could then use to meet the needs of LRSD students. The bins will be in place for the week of May 15-19.

Thanks so much for helping with this great endeavor! It will allow our school district to serve the whole student in a timely manner.
